Over several years I have tried various resources to broadcast live events including a variety of webcams in tandem with either Google Hangouts On Air, Skype, and YouTube Live. Throughout each experience quality or versatility was fine but limited. This past year I started using the Mevo camera and wow what a difference.

Getting Started
Mevo works in tandem with a tablet or phone using the Mevo app. Simply sync the camera with the app and control everything right from your phone/tablet. When you are ready to stream simple press the record button and select your streaming destinations: Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Periscope, Vimeo, or save locally on the built in micro sd card.

When recording it is very easy to pan, zoom, crop, adjust the sound levels, and video filters right from your device. It’s not only simple to use but it’s a fun device to use for streaming. Check out the Shot by Mevo page displaying variety of videos using the device.
